Death Scenes. This is a book with photos from crime scenes.
Mutter Museum Historic Medical Photographs. Photographs from the Mutter Museum, if I can't go then I might as well buy a book about it.
The Empire of Death. I would love to visit a church made of bones. I think I'm going to visit the one in Rome when I go to Europe
I would LOVE a Toshio Saeki book, but they're really hard to find cheap. He creates traditional Japanese art, but with really strange subjects. Usually erotic and horror related.
Save your money, go to the Mutter Museum's Masquerade Ball. It's a totally valid reason to come up to this hemisphere.
ReplyDeleteWow, that 'Death Scenes' book looks fascinating!
ReplyDeleteI remember the first one being in Borders when I worked there. Do you have a friendly local bookstore who would be willing to get them in for you? Yeah, I know post to Australia sucks, there have been so many things I could get for under $10 on Amazon but then post would cost me at least $15, basically neutralising the savings.
ReplyDeleteYou have luck, because here, in Poland, I can only dream about those books :D Well, only ebay or amazon to get such titles:P
ReplyDeleteBest regards for baby bat :*
Historical medical photography looks so awsome!!
ReplyDeleteI was hoping there was a book for the Glore Psychiatric Museum here in the US, but alas no.
ReplyDeleteYou can take a video tour or print out the pamphlet for free:

Not quite as awesome as your books, but free is almost always good.
Hi guys, thanks for the comments. I usually use www.bookfinder.com for getting my books. It searches for the cheapest books all over the net, the ones I want are still about $30 though. Time to start saving!
