Domino Dollhouse Pagan Poetry Collection

Oh wow you guys. Domino Dollhouse has released the first part to their Pagan Poetry collection and I'm very excited. This collection seems very Goth orientated, and I really wish that I had enough money to buy the cute dresses I featured below.
Domino Dollhouse offer plus sized clothing in awesome cuts and prints, very affordable compared to Australia's City Chic (overpriced and boring dress cuts). Sizes are from 1X to 4X.

I'm dying because items in Pagan Poetry have different song names as the titles, such as 'Slowdive' and 'She's Lost Control' (Siouxsie and Joy Division respectively).

(Silent Shout is a song by The Knife)

I really love the collar of this dress, but for some odd reason it's PVC.

Wednesday Wants

Ax Paris Sequin Bodycon Dress from Simply Be: $105
I've seen this dress on a few ladies online, and it looks fabulous! I want to be a mermaid too!! But too expensive for me and I'm not sure how often I would wear something like this (even if it matches my hair perfectly)

Clueless Witch Collection by Lime Crime: $20 each (collection comes out later in March 2014)
I have a love/hate relationship with Lime Crime. I love their eyeshadow primer, I love 'Red Velvet' Velvetine lipstick. But Lime Crime does have a lot of controversy attached to it.
I really want these lipsticks though. I bought Red Velvet a while ago and it looks amazing (dries matte and stays on for ages). I have my eye on wicked and black velvet, I'm not sure I would suit the brown coloured 'salem'. Hopefully there is a plum colour in the works, because that colour suits me the best.

Do you have a love/hate relationship with any products?

Rocky Horror Perth

The stage production of the Rocky Horror Picture Show is in Perth, and I saw it on Sunday with my sister Kirsty. We went to the matinee at 1:30pm and our seats were really good! I was very excited to see this show, as I've watched the movie a billion times but haven't seen the stage show.

I really loved it, me and Kirsty danced the Time Warp at the end! I would love to see it again. It was very funny, there were quite a few young kids in the audience and the show was very sexually suggestive! (especially during the bed scenes) I wonder how parents are going to explain that to them.

I can make you a man!
Dress: Asos
Tights: Asos
Winklepickers: vintage Ebay

Kirsty and me as Janet and Brad.

Why Don't I Update My Blog?!

It's that time of year again when I'm working Fringe World Perth. I'm at the box office, selling tickets. There's only one more week to go.
We were given white shirts, which is my worst nightmare. I really don't suit white, so I cut the sleeves and neck off to make it a bit better. I have to always tuck it into a skirt because white makes me look larger than I am.

Good news
  • I've passed my driving test. I now have to do 25 hours of supervised driving before I can get my provisional licence (this means I can drive by myself). I don't have a car yet, so I'm trying to find people who will let me drive with them.
  • I passed my trimester unit at university. Now I have to focus on more study this year
  • My skeleton, Frederick Bonesworthington, has gone on a little trip. One of my neighbours knocked on my door and asked if they could use him for a medical response course. So Fred will be gone for two weeks, I hope he has fun and comes back in one piece!

Bad news:
  • My dad has a blood clot in his leg. The hospital has assured him that they can operate on it, but he has to wait a week before they can do it. Very scary!
  • I've been at constant struggle with my mental health, it's been getting worse since December and I feel alone, ugly and unloved.

Rome Day 1: Colosseum and Roman Forum

I was on the train from Paris to Rome all day. My whole trip around Europe was by train, which I both loved and hated. I loved the views but hated how long it took. Read more after the page break!

Melting

Today is going to reach 44 degrees Celsius (that's 111 Fahrenheit for my American readers). The fire level is at catastrophic. Yesterday was 40, tomorrow will be 41.
Luckily, it's Saturday so I can spend my day hiding away playing video games. I have a fan, so hopefully that keeps me cool enough (I also have a pint of Ben and Jerry's which I'm saving till later)
I really dislike summer, you can't get cool no matter what you do. Boo summer! At least in winter you can wear lots of clothes and snuggle. I hope all of my snowy American readers are okay at the moment, with that vortex going on.

NYE

On New Years Eve I went to The Gathering, a newish crowd funded Goth night. I was asked to DJ, I had the first set and the midnight set.
I was so honoured to be given the midnight set!!! At midnight I played Blue Monday, while confetti cannons went off. I had a few people come up to me after my set and compliment me on my music. Yay!
I have no new years resolution, because I believe if I want to change something I'll do it now and not wait until the new year.

I was also in the weekly free music rag.
