Looking very plain and simple (to me anyway)
I'm Fat, Let's Party shirt: Seibei
Cotton biker jacket: Ebay
Skirt: Big W
Tights: We Love Colors
Boots: Dr Martens
It was both of my coworkers birthdays today. We work in a team of three, and they really help me along in my job. One of them was turning 50, so it was a big deal. I decorated her table, with the help of my other coworker. I organised a lunch at the University tavern for the whole group. I also baked a HUGE amount of my brownies.
Her desk after we were finished! I photoshopped her head onto a Sookie and Eric picture from True Blood (I don't watch the series)
My presents to them were a box of brownies each, and a cross stitch!
Game of Thrones dragon cross stitch for my coworker turning 50. I did the dragon green because I wanted to keep it like Daenerys Targaryen's dragons.
I made this for my other coworker, he is a nerd and has a man crush on Robert Downey Jr.
What was really nice is that they got me a box of chocolates!! I don't know why, but they said that they knew I was going all out for their birthday and that I deserved something.

That shirt is fantastic. I kinda want one that proclaims my love for chubby dudes.
What a thoughtful coworker you are! :D And I have to say that Avengers cross stitch is at least 37 kinds of wonderful. So awesome! LOVE IT!
You look better, I'm glad ^^
You make great birthday presents! No wonder they gave you chocolates!
May I ask, with your job, did you have your awesome hair when you got it or did you gradually bring it in? How do you deal with dressing for work? I finish my degree this year, and I like to dress like I'm from the Victorian era, and I am interested in input from anyone about how that might go down in the library workplace. Thanks.
Could any night go any nice that with a awesome Bowie song.
I dont't remember it what was the last time i did cross stich, but it used to help me spend time, i really need to go back to it, it's kind of therapeutic don't you think?
It was an amazing surprise, they are lucky to have you(btw amaaaaaazing nails)
Laura, I might make a little post about how I be myself working at a library :)
The avengers cross stitch is a really neat gift!
I don't think your look is plain; simple yes, but plain... far from it! ;)
Hey, I just found your blog, and I love your style! The "I'm fat let's party" shirt is especially awesome--I've been meaning to get one as well. :-)
