Neon Green Jesus

I love religious icons. They interest me because I'm not religious, and I think it's amazing the things people believe. My friend recently told me about an artist in residence that was selling some aweomse stuff in Perth.

Oliver Stretton-Pow had some great stuff set up in his space. There was a scuplture of a womans legs under a lawn mower. What I liked best was his colourful opaque figures for sale, I really loved his Jesus items. He was all sold out of Jesus, but he specially made me a green one (with optional cross!) which took a few days. Totally worth it for a unique piece of art.

I love that he nailed it to the cross.

 

I also enjoy the tiny bit of red added to the green.

 

 

He was also selling whales, turtles, dolphins, pipes, and Zeus figures.
