I really love early Tim Burton, his new stuff I can't stand. Maybe I'm too elitist :P
Frankenweenie was great, I loved that everything was in black and white. His characters are interesting, and the story was cute. Because we went at 2pm Monday there was no one else in the cinema.
Look what I found in a music store!! It's a Coffin Case for microphones, but seeing as I'm not a muscian I'm going to use it for other stuff.
Original price was $80 and I got it for $40! Worth it!
The inside is this lovely squishy foam. I'm going to rip it out and glue down some crushed velvet.
I bought two prints and a calendar from Typo (a popular hipster type store)
BONUS PHOTO:
I drew this tip jar for my volunteer work at the Rooftop Movies. They are showing horror movies all week.

I still have to make my boyfriend's mind to see a black and white movie, i hope is what i am expecting, i have great expectations.
That amazing Coffin Case <3 , i can totally see it as a bag, or a make up bag even, it's beautifull.
Just saw Frankweenie last week!
Loved it. Especially Mr. Whiskers. That cat was insane.
Very nice find also :D
Is it weird to envy a calendar? I suppose it wouldn't be if it's as awesome as the one you have... wow, what a find-- I've been wanting an anatomical calendar forever it feels like.
Also, I'm glad you like Frankenweenie. I was afraid it wasn't going to stack up against his student film. Now I am going to watch it =)
Arrg dying to see Frankenweenie but we don't have it in cinemas yet!!!
I am utterly jealous of your coffin case! I want one!
I wonder if the sell them online :D
