 On Thursday at work, there was a fundraiser for The World's Greatest Shave. I decided to get my head shaved last minute, and my co-workers quickly rounded up $200 to donate! Here are some photos of my head shaving!

Never be afraid to change your hair and do something different. I have a lumpy head with a large birthmark at the back, but that doesn't mean I can't pull this style off!

I am looking forward to it growing back, I think I'm going to keep the green mohawk because it suits me best.

Photo Before Breakfast

I took a quick photo while waiting to be seated for breakfast yesterday with a friend. I tried to dress up nicely because I'm feeling down at the moment.

Dim Sum is Amazing

A little while ago I had a busy Saturday. I had Dim Sum in the morning, and then went to see La Soiree, a Fringe World show, in the evening.

This is the tent La Soiree is shown, I wanted to show it to my sister before we went to have Dim Sum.

Poor little sea critters. That being said, I always love to look at them at Chinese resturants.

Gosh, I love Dim Sum. You can see the hands of my Sister and Cousin. This restaurant has amazing BBQ pork buns with a sweet glaze, seen on the bottom left. I have no idea what they're called, but they're wonderful.

Congratulations to Tess Munster/Holliday!

As you guys may know, I am big fan of Tess Munster. I gained a lot of readers when she mentioned me on her Facebook page.

Tess has been growing up so much since the last time I featured her. I follow her on Facebook and Instagram, and her beauty always blows me away.

The big news is that she's been signed to Milk Model Management, based in London. She's setting new boundaries as the first size 22 woman to be signed to a major modeling company. She's also changed her modelling name to Tess Holliday, after her Fiance (who's Australian!!). When the news was released I started seeing her name everywhere on the internet!

Sadly, this also leads to many mean comments. Tess is a seriously strong woman, if I accidentally see any Instagram comments I get angry. SO MANY people are rude and mean. But SO MANY people love Tess. She's an inspiration.

I'm 100% in awe of Tess, seeing how far she's come and how busy she is. She fights for rights to everyone to feel beautiful with her #EffYourBeautyStandards movement. The movement states:

"For everyone that says we can't show our tummies, wear a pencil/form fitting skirt, wear a bikini, wear sleevless tops... YOU can! I want YOU to join the mevement by wearing whatever the fuck you want- stop hiding your body because society tells you to."

So to Tess Holliday, congratulations. You truly are changing the world for the better and helping a whole generation of women and men to feel beautiful in the skin they're in.

Wednesday Wants

I've had my eye on a certain ebay store since the first time I started buying things online.

punkstuff/Hanger 19 offers a bunch of horror, goth, punk, and metal related items. They sell shirts, hoodies, and bags. I've always been partial to the bags, but they cost around $32 (including shipping to Australia) and I can't choose which one I like best! I'm leaning towards the bat skeleton print. Which do you like?

More Fringe World!

My last post was about working at Fringe this year. This one is about going to see a show!

Because I've been working so much I haven't really had a chance to see any shows, my shift finishes at 10:30 usually so I'm too tired to go out and see one.

I saw the Vaudevillians, with Jinx Monsoon from Ru Paul's Drag Race. The show is a cabaret, about two 1920's singers who were frozen and thawed out in the 21st century. They find that artists today have stolen their songs, so they sing us the 'original' 1920's version. Jinx Monsoon was a very talented singer.

I also saw Promise and Promiscuity, a one woman Jane Austen play. I was a bit worried about this one, because it's theatre, but anything to do with Jane Austen I'm there in a second! The woman doing the show did very well, she told a typical Jane Austen type story, very lighthearted and comedic, and she did each character with a different inflection so it was easy to follow. She made a nod at different Austen stories throughout, and she did some song and dance too.

Last Saturday I had the night off, so I went to see Eastend Cabaret with my Library co-worker/friend Marie. She hasn't been to any of the shows yet, so I wanted to show her around.

Here is Marie and me sitting on the moon. I think she really enjoyed Eastend Cabaret, we got really good seats so we could see all the action.

Perth Fringe World 2015!

Hi Guys,
I've been so busy for the last month working at Fringe World in Perth. I've worked here the last two years, which you may remember from past posts. I'm working in our second venue, The Pleasure Garden, which is in a nice park.

My job consists of hosting the lines, so standing outside the box office and helping people. Lots of people are in the wrong place, so it's easier to catch them before they have to line up for a long time. And many, many people have no idea what to see. I'm not allowed to 'recommend' anything, because that's unfair to other artists. Luckily, this late in the season a lot of things are sold out, so people will generally only have one option at the end of the night.

The festival ends next Sunday, so I have around four more shifts to go :)

I also bought tickets for my Dad and Step-mum to see Eastend Cabaret yesterday, I haven't recieved a text from them yet to see if they liked it or not! I also made my box office coworkers brownies yesterday, which were much appreciated.
