Spooky Tattoo

Last Friday, after work, I went to Foothills Tattoo to get my tattooist Josh to start my other sleeve. My left arm is going to be my 'goth arm' with lots of spooky things.

I was VERY happy with what he came up with. I gave him a vintage photo to copy the woman off, because I loved her pose. He drew her sitting on gravestones with a dripping heart in her hands!
Also you get a nice view of my fat arm :)

Halfway through!

All done!! My next appointment is in October. I'll get some background and colour.

Close-up of her head.

On Saturday I went with my best friend on some errands. We dropped off some posters for the next Alternative Markets and then went to Ikea. Here is what I wore:

Jacket: gifted from Mary at Dancing Maenad
Skirt: Op shop (not sure what brand) It has pockets! I love pockets on skirts
Tights: We Love Colors
Boots: Op Shop (not sure what brand)

I'm super happy about my boots. I found them in an Op Shop last week. It's really hard for me to find shoes in Op Shops, due to the fact that I have big feet and Op Shop shoes are generally gross. They're suede lace up biker type boots. I got them for $10 because the side zip was broken. I don't need the zips to put them on, so I just glued the zip shut :)

The rest of my weekend was uneventful and I just spent my time at home.

Tattoo and Hocico

I got a new tattoo last Wednesday at Foothills Tattoo in Byford.

Mmm. Fresh. The skeleton sits right under my "Elitist" tattoo. My "Elitist" tattoo is a joke between my friends, about how I do really stereotypical Goth stuff.

On Thursday night I went to see Hocico. My friend (organiser of The Crypt) brought them over with her own money. The two boys in the band were really nice, they enjoyed Perth a lot. The gig was really great! I'm not a huge fan of their music, but they did a good job and really got everyone dancing. One thing I love about Goth concerts is that people give you enough room to dance, it's great!
I forgot to take a photo of my outfit, but here is my head :)

The Start Of Terrible Summer

I DJed at The Loft last Sunday. Here is what I wore:

I helped my little sister put up the xmas tree. It's been really really hot recently, so I wore a nice dress. It seriously didn't get below 20 degrees at night :(

Dress: City Chic
Belt: Torrid
Leggings: Target
Winklepickers: Demonia

I also recently got some colour added to my librarian tattoo. I still have a bit to go!

I got a new nail polish which I recommend. Midnight Affair by Revlon. It's a deep blue/black, it's great if you get tired of wearing black polish all the time (like I do). I need to find a nice emerald green now.

This is with flash.

Birthday Bits

I started my sleeve tattoo last Wednesday! I got it done by Josh at Foothills Tattoo. He has done a lot of work on my friend, and I love his art.

The tattoo studio is next to this salon, which reminds me of Earth Girls Are Easy (one of my favourite films)

Behold my fat arm!! Josh drew the design himself. I told him I wanted a sexy librarian with lots of books!
Right now my tattoo is good, but it's in the itchy stage.

I got two cards for my birthday at work! It was so nice! They also bought me a bunch of Reese's Peanut Butter Cups (which are not available widely in Australia). I put them in the skull next to the telephone.

That night my close friends too me out to Sizzler which is ALL YOU CAN EAT! Let me just say, I was glad I was wearing my fat dress :P
This is me and Holly doing our best "Let's eat everything in the damn place because we're fat" faces.

And my other friend made me cupcakes! Awwww...

This was from last weekend (13th Nov) after I DJed at The Loft. I got a new dress from Yours Clothing. The first one I sent for actually didn't arrive (lost in the mail?) I contacted Yours and they were great about sending a free replacement.
