Not Dead (Yet)

There's so much going on in my life, yet also nothing at all.
I've been to work everyday for the last three weeks (apart from one day last week). This is a huge achievement for me, my mental health has not been good for over a year. Each day has been really good so far, and I'm able to easily get up in the morning. I'm not entirely focused at work yet, but I'm working on it.
My mood is still pretty low, but I'm coping really well at the moment.

I've nearly finished my university studies for the semester. I'm finding my last assignment to be difficult, and it's due next Wednesday. I hope I can get the motivation to finish it by Sunday. It's really draining working full time, while studying part time.
It's not going to let up soon, because I'm taking a unit in the trimester (over christmas) so that I can finish my course by 2016.

Money has been tough for me, with various loans. I have to start paying back my university fees because I'm earning over a certain amount. But looking on the bright side, if I pay them now then I don't have to pay them later!

I've had good news about a possible part-time job opening over the summer. This will be a huge relief for my budget. I don't know how I'm going to juggle work/uni/part-time job at the same time. I don't know 100% if I have the position yet, so I won't jinx it by saying too much.

I've planned my 25th birthday party in November and I'm really excited about it! I'm having a picnic in a park near my house, and I've invited the people who I care about most. I'm going to make loot bags! My bday is November 10th in case you're wondering :)

Halloween is soon, and I get to DJ at Incursion. I'm going to dress as a witch. I love Halloween, which I'm sure is the same for most of you. I'm going to go looking around for Halloween stuff soon, maybe I can use some of the things for my birthday.

I'm excited about the end of the year, even though I have to work xmas eve at the Library. There are lots of things I'm excited about in the future, although my everyday life is really boring. I've not been out for ages because of my money situation and I don't have anybody to go with. I've been watching a lot of Mystery Science Theatre 3000, and I want to play a video game or two before my next semester starts.

Next year, me and my sister are going to Phuket, in Thailand! She was originally going with her boyfriend, but they broke up a while ago. I offered to go with her. I've never been to an asian country before, I'm very excited about riding elephants. I'll survive the sun and humid weather, and I know I'll have a great time with my sister. I have to budget hard in order to be able to afford this.

So that's a little about what's been happening with my life. I hope all my readers are doing well.

I hope you get a little break before Thailand! 3 weeks solid plus school is a pretty long month.

Sounds like you have a lot of fun stuff coming up! Good luck with school and work, I know it's difficult when juggling both. You can do it!

So you have gone into the same situation as me. I feel the same as you about this. I also have to work full time and study part time. Will be finished by the end of 2016 with my new degree. Take small breaks to enjoy yourself and rest from the studies. The Phuket vacation will be a perfect rest.
