Picturing New York @ AGWA

Last Sunday I went to the Picturing New York exhibition at the Art Gallery of Western Australia with a friend. It was the last day of the exhibition, and it's part of the partnership between MoMA and AGWA.
The photographs were interesting, I enjoyed the architecture photos. I don't think I enjoyed this exhibition as much as the last one.
I'm very excited about the next one, because it will feature Dali artwork.
The museum currently has a Egypt exhibit on now, so I'm looking forward to seeing that!

After going to the art gallery, I fell on the stairs on the bus and fractured my ankle :(
At least I looked cute?

I'm not to sure about this red lipstick. It feels a bit orange?
The sweater clip is actually a skull collar chain from Asos.

Cardigan: Banned (I'm not happy about the quality, especially because it cost $50)
Shirt: City Chic
Skirt: It's either Asos or Evans (I can't get up to check because of broken ankle)

I always said that City Chic were too expensive, but they're really bringing out some cute stuff. It can't resist it!

After walking through the exhibition, there was a photo opportunity at the end with a landscape of New York. Here is me and my friend. I worked with him at Fringe World, and I didn't realise we had so much in common.

That's too bad about the quality of the cardi, because you look quite beautiful in the entire outfit! I hope it lasts you.

The last photo looks almost real! Heh

I sincerely hope your ankle heals quickly-- I meant to add that in my last comment, but somehow didn't make it in. =/

Ha ha, I thought that picture was real too, for a minute there!

I love Dali! My boyfriend and I were lucky enough to see a major exhibition when we were in London, and we also made an entire trip to Melbourne to see the smaller one there.

Too bad about the cardi, because it is really cute! Did it come with the sweater clip? I haven't seen one of those in ages!!

We saw a Dali exhibit in Berlin and it was amazing. The Egypt exhibit sounds like a good one, too.

Is the ankle healing well? Did you find out whether you need surgery or not yet? Feel better, Natalie!

An Egyptian exhibit, followed by Dali! I'm sooo jealous... ;-P

Falling off a bus is just unfair!! I hope your ankle is healing as it should. It's good you had someone with you to help you get home safely.

I rather like the orangeness. It's less expected.

Heal quickly.

Oh no! I'm so sorry my favorite goth from Australia is injured. I feel bad for you there by yourself hobbling around. Do hope you heal quickly and also that you have a few local friends who you can call on to assist you.
When I'm down, it always cheers me up to check in on your doings! Natalie, you are lovely and so interesting to me here in Seattle, USA. Feel better very soon and perhaps get some good reading in! -Katie S
